Lost Generation in the middle east

Violence, poverty and no school: in the Middle East, millions of children are growing up in dire need. Does the “lost generation” still have a chance? Can more money help them? asks Christian Böhme from the Tagesspiegel. CHA Director Ralf Südhoff criticises the fact that urgently needed funds have not yet been received this year. The new German government, which has promised a value-oriented foreign policy, is obliged to expand Germany’s commitment. “The commitment is impressive financially, but politically and in terms of personnel it does not have the necessary foundation.”
