On the 3rd weekend in August, the Federal Foreign Office invites to an Open House at Werderscher Markt 1.
In the historic Weltsaal, there will be the “Humanitarian Room”, where CHA will also be represented with a booth: Come by!

On Saturday, 20 August, 1:30 p.m., CHA reseracher Andrea Steinke discusses with Ferdinand von Weyhe (Head of Division Principle Humanitarian Aid, International Disaster Management, Humanitarian Demining at the Federal Foreign Office) on the stage in the Weltsaal the German government’s humanitarian aid and how humanitarian action has to adapt to a world changed by e.g. climate change.
Also on Saturday, 20 August, 5:00 p.m., CHA researcher Darina Pellowska discusses with Ferdinand von Weyhe in the Willy-Brandt-Saal why local humanitarian aid in particular needs to be strengthened.
