On Wednesday, December 18, CHA Director Ralf Südhoff is invited as an expert to a public hearing of the parliamentary committee on human rights and humanitarian aid in the German Federal Parliament. The hearing on ‘forgotten humanitarian crises’ will address questions such as what operational implications the Federal Foreign Office’s new strategy for humanitarian aid abroad has for the work of humanitarian aid organisations with regard to forgotten humanitarian crises and what significance the effects of the climate crisis have in forgotten humanitarian crises.
The hearing is expected to be broadcast on parliamentary television and published online at www.bundestag.de.
